How do I connect with my partner?
When you start Swiby, you get an invite code. Send it to your partner, who downloads the app and enters the code. From then on you share swipes and matches.
Do we need two subscriptions?
No. When one of you buys Swiby Plus, it covers both of you.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, select Swiby and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period.
I paid but don’t have access
Open Swiby Plus in the app and tap Restore Purchases, using the same Apple ID you paid with. If that doesn’t work, write to us with your Apple receipt.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my data?
Open the Us tab in Swiby, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account and data. Your account, swipes, suggestions and shared matches are deleted right away. If you have a subscription, cancel it in your Apple ID settings, since deleting the app or account does not stop it. You can also write to us with your invite code and we will delete everything within 30 days.
How do I disconnect from my partner?
Open the Us tab and tap Disconnect partner. Your shared matches are removed and you get a new invite code, so you can connect with someone else.
How do I report a name my partner suggested?
Names your partner suggests are marked on the card. Tap the remove button on the card and choose Remove and report. The name is removed for both of you and we review it. We also filter suggestions for offensive words.
Where do the names come from?
The US names are based on public baby name data from the U.S. Social Security Administration, and the Danish names on public Danish name lists. Meanings and origins are added by us.
